Nuova Termostampi was founded in the Sixties as a small craft business constructing moulds. Around the middle of the Seventies the company added a division for the moulding and compression of thermosetting materials by primarily using masses and preimpregnated elements in polyester (BMC and SMC) that were just starting to appear on the market at that time. The use of these new materials soon proved to be ideal for applications in the electromechanical sector, but also for appliances, lighting fixtures and the automotive sector. The specialization and experience of Nuova Termostampi grew during those years, developing and consolidating in time. By the middle of the Eighties Nuova Termostampi began to specialize in the use of technical polymers, moulding thermoplastic materials and at the same time exploring the sector of injection moulding of polyester resins (BMC). This continuous contribution of new technologies in mould construction and processing, but also the growth of the older departments, enabled the company to gain extraordinary skills in the transformation of a wide range of plastic materials to use for technical products, and offer its customers additional services such as co-design. |
